About Nancy Davis
Nancy's Swimwear is Closing — And This Is How I Want to Say Goodbye
There's a moment every woman knows.
You're standing at the water's edge, something in your hands that caught your eye, and for just a second you wonder — is this me? Is this really me?
It always was. It just needed the right piece.
That belief is the reason Nancy's Swimwear has existed here on the coast of Siesta Key. It's the reason a former daycare worker who spent twenty-two years years caring for little hands and big hearts decided to trade her classroom for a boutique — in the town she had been quietly falling in love with every single summer for decades.
How It Started
It started with a listing on a Tuesday afternoon that I almost scrolled past.
A boutique space. Here. In Siesta Key. The town where my family had spent every summer for as long as I can remember. The town where, every single year, the moment I felt that warm sand beneath my feet, something in me exhaled completely.
I called my husband Larry into the kitchen. He read the listing. Looked at me. Smiled.
We talked until midnight. About the risk, the timing, the kids, everything that could go wrong. And then somewhere around midnight we stopped talking about why it might not work — and started talking about what it could become.
I handed in my notice. We packed up our lives. And on a warm Florida morning I unlocked this door for the very first time.
What Siesta Key Taught Me
You showed up for Nancy's Swimwear in ways I never expected.
You came in for one piece and stayed for an hour. You brought your daughters, your sisters, your friends visiting from out of town. You came back season after season. You trusted me — with your time, your money, the way you wanted to feel when you walked out that door.
I never took that lightly. Not for a single day in nine years.
Every piece I brought into this boutique I chose the way I once chose how to care for a child — with attention, with patience, with the person in front of me in mind. Not what looks beautiful on a hanger. What makes a woman feel like herself on a really, really good day.
Siesta Key made me better at what I do. And now, after nine of the most beautiful years of my life, it is time to rest.
Why I'm Retiring
I am sixty-seven years old. I have been a caregiver, a wife, a mother, and a boutique owner in my favorite place on earth.
And I have decided — with a full heart, not a heavy one — that it is time to retire. Not because something went wrong. Because something went beautifully right. And I am wise enough now to know when a story has found its ending.
This is my retirement sale. Everything must go — at 70% off — because I want every last piece to find a home before I close this door for the very last time.
What the Retirement Sale Looks Like
Everything you see here was chosen with the same eye, the same care, the same standard as always.
There are pieces for the woman who wants to feel effortless at the water's edge. Pieces for the woman who wants to walk onto that beach and own it. Pieces for the woman who has decided — rightly — that she doesn't owe anyone discomfort in exchange for feeling good.
Every single one chosen by a woman, for women, with an eye for what actually flatters real bodies — not perfect ones.
70% off everything. Free shipping on every order. Easy 30-day returns. No questions asked.
For the Women Who Have Been Here From the Beginning
You believed in this before most people knew it existed. You kept coming back. You sent the women you loved through this door.
This retirement sale is yours as much as it is mine. Everything here was chosen with you in mind — the real, living, breathing woman who deserves to feel confident at the beach.
All these years of thank you. I mean every word.
For the Women Just Finding This
Welcome. I'm so glad you're here. I wish we'd had more time.
Browse slowly. Find the things that make you stop. Trust that instinct — I built this entire boutique around exactly that moment.
One Dream. One Shop. One Perfect Coast.
What started as a boutique becoming available became years of mornings I will never forget.
Every woman deserves to feel confident at the beach. Every woman deserves a space that was made with her in mind. Every woman deserves to stand at that water's edge and feel exactly like herself — just on a really, really good day.
That's what I built here. And I'm not done until every last piece finds the woman it was meant for.
75% off everything. Free shipping on every order. Easy 30-day returns. 🌊🤍
With Love,
Nancy Davis
